Its been a good chalet, everything falled into place as i kind of planned and organised it out. As the main organiser, would like thanks everyone who helped to make this chalet a successful one.
Let me share some of what was done during the chalet:
First Day
Arranged for everyone to meet at Serangoon interchange at 1 pm. Reached the interchange and met MC, YM and IZ. The rest which includes YX, Samantha,XX and Ryan. We bought drinks, tidbits and took cabs down to Costa Sands Pasir Ris. Arrived for check in at 2.30 pm, got the room key and went ahead to open the door after some routines. Placed bags upstairs and went ahead to clean the floor and matteress. After that we headed out to explore Pasir Ris, went to EHub to grab some snacks, was starving then cause did not have lunch before that...we went to rent bikes after that, quite a good weather to cycle as it was pouring throughout the whole day till around 5.30pm, after that there was not any rain.
Luckily there was not any rain, and the cycling trip to get dinner and towards changi village was also quite smooth with no one injured or having any major falls. Firstly we went ahead to cycle out for dinner at the coffee shop then cycling around the estates. Headed back and had rest while waiting for the next batch of ppl which includes XH, SH and Esther. YM and I headed out to pick them up at Cheers while hunting for Insecticide. There were so many cockroaches around when we headed back , so having and insecticide would be much better. At 12.30 am we headed out to changi village. It was about 4 to 5 hours trip back and forth with breaks in between. Lightsticks served their purpose quite well i guess able to see each other positions in the night.
Second Day
Took a bath about 8 plus to 9. Then proceeded on to have breakfast while some went to sleep. Got the bbq pit from the cafeteria. We bought frozen food and drinks and etc for the nights bbq. Some stayed in the chalet to rest. After going back, cleared the table and rubbish as there were quite a lot of ants around. Skewered the hotdogs, sotong and prawns. Prepared the pit and fire and everything continued on from there. Cooking was done in shifts, and more headed down after work and school. There was a bdae celebration for oct babies with them recieving their own presents. BBQed till bout 3 am. Everyone went to sleep about 3 plus to 4 i guess. Then we all proceeded on the sleep.
Third Day
For me, i cant get to sleep, seems like the aircon is quite cold should have brought my jacket. Spent quite some time staring into the ceiling while alarms for HPs start to ring. Went ahead to look at the sunrise..then everyone stoned till check out... Managed to cleared and clean up some utensils while some took a rest... Had cup noodles as breakfast after walking to look at the sunrise..XH and IZ had brunch as some of us took a drink....after that we went to take bus at our usual 53 bus stop.
So three days just ended...it was really an enjoyable experience for me...Had much fun during the chalet...hope there would be a next one soon.
I did my laundry and my house laundry at the same time so that the clothes wont stink. Went to buy lunch for my lunch while my washing machine did the rest of the washing, had beancurd and rice balls for lunch. After having dinner and hanging up clothing, it was like 4 pm or even later. Had a bath and took a nap till bout 7.
Here am i blogging now...chalet was another point that i did took some point to reflect on some stuff. For me, i guess some stuff are just meant to be this way. Time to take a step back and stop dreaming i guess.
